XRP to $10? Here’s How Ripple’s $120 Trillion Expansion Could Make It Happen

Ripple’s XRP has found its way back into trader’s mouths this week as traders prepare for Jerome Powell’s expected rate cut.

Lower rates usually push money back into risk assets, which is exactly the kind of environment where XRP price tends to perform well. It’s designed for liquidity, and when capital starts moving again, settlement assets usually see the first wave of inflows.

Ripple Continues Building Behind the Scenes

Meanwhile, Ripple continues building quietly behind the scenes. Ripple Prime officially launched following the acquisition of prime broker Hidden Road, giving institutions access to custody, collateral, and cross-border settlement using XRP and Ripple’s stablecoin, RLUSD.

The XRP Ledger is also approaching its one-hundred-millionth ledger, highlighting more than a decade of reliable operation.

The only drag right now is the continued delay of XRP ETF approvals, but XRP price has held firm enough that the market appears to be expecting clarity eventually.

Institutional Moves Tell a Bigger Story

Traders on social media are already speculating about what comes next. John Squire pointed out that a dovish pivot from the Fed could be the spark for assets with strong liquidity profiles, and XRP fits that category better than most.

On the institutional side, Coin Bureau noted that Evernorth recently purchased over $1 billion worth of XRP for its upcoming treasury product. Moves like that usually happen quietly, and only when the buyers are thinking long term.

The bigger narrative comes from Ripple’s push into the corporate treasury payments market, estimated at more than $120 trillion. That market is bogged down by slow settlement times, compliance friction, and international banking delays.

Ripple is attempting to turn that entire process into near-instant messaging and settlement rails. Even a tiny slice of that sector would translate into enormous transactional demand for XRP.

What Comes Next for XRP Price

In the near term, the chart will still react to liquidity conditions. If Powell signals a softer monetary stance, XRP could test higher prices faster than expected.

If ETF approvals are pushed deeper into the year, momentum may stall temporarily. For now, XRP price resilience has been the dominant theme.

The interesting part is not the hype. It’s the quiet supply contraction happening behind the scenes as more tokens are parked in custody, treasury systems, and prime brokerage modules. The more that supply tightens, the easier it becomes for demand to push price higher.

If Ripple gains traction in even a fraction of the corporate treasury market, the idea of ten-dollar XRP stops sounding outrageous and starts sounding like a milestone on a longer path. The groundwork is already being laid. The window for early positioning might not stay open forever.
